Policies

 

 

Returns/Exchanges:

We offer a 3-day unconditional inspection period to make sure the item you bought is right for you.  If for any reason you are not satisfied, please notify us within 3 days of receipt and return the item back to us in its original condition for a full refund or exchange (less the cost of insured shipping; refund issued upon receipt and inspection of item).

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase!

Shipping:

Our preferred shipping method is Fed Ex Overnight.  We feel it is the safest and most cost effective service.  Buyers are responsible for all shipping and insurance costs (shipping charges are non-refundable), so if you prefer a different carrier, please do let us know and we will work with you. 

We require that all items be shipped fully insured for the full purchase price.

Payment Options:

We accept various payment options. You may pay by:

  • Wire Transfer
  • Certified Bank Check
  • Personal Check (subject to holding period until funds clear)
  • Credit Card*

*Due to the high fees associated with credit card transactions, we must add a 2.9% surcharge to payments made via credit card.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax is chargeable for sales in California and Washington.


Lay Away:

Layaways require 50% down.  We will hold an item for 3 business days to receive your deposit.   Layaway duration is 60-90 days, but may be extended at the discretion of Jewels by Erica Grace.

Payments (if applicable) must be made regularly, as scheduled, and we must receive them on or before the day they are due.   If more than 2 payments are late or, if the layaway is not paid off in full by the time the layaway is scheduled to end, the item(s) will be returned to stock.

Because layaway items are being taken off the market and held for you for an extended period of time, they will be sold as final sale only.  We do not allow returns or exchanges on layaway items.  

This includes items which are returned to stock due to non-compliance with the terms of the Layaway Agreement.  All funds paid upon the expiration of the layaway term will be forfeited.

Lifetime Trade-Up:

We are very pleased to formally announce our new trade-up policy!  If you are interested in upgrading your JbEG piece we will happily offer you full purchase price credit towards any item in our inventory priced at twice (or greater) the value of your trade.

Your item(s) must be returned to us in its original, undamaged condition and accompanied by any original grading reports, if applicable. Costs to refurbish and/or repair your item will be deducted from your credit (including but not limited to: replacing missing stones, repairs to shank or prongs, buffing and polishing, re-certification due to missing reports, etc.)  We will keep you informed of such costs accordingly.

Trade-In:

On occasion, we accept pieces for trade-in, the value of which cannot exceed 50% of the item you are purchasing.  Please note that, while this is not our normal practice, we will consider trade-ins on a case by case basis.
