Do you have a diamond in need of a home? Take a look at our "orphan" settings - antique, vintage and modern reproduction semimounts we have saved along the way!

Unless otherwise noted, mountings will have the original prongs and may require new prong tips prior to setting your stone (you should check with your jeweler or we can quote you a price to retip the prongs prior to shipping).

Settings are in good condition, but may require additional minor refurbishing. This would be at the buyer's expense.

Vintage fishtail mounting

Charming and timeless vintage solitaire setting with fishtail prongs. Used to hold approx a 1ct diamond. The shank is yellow gold (14kt) and the top is white gold. Single cut diamond melee along the shoulders. Newly refurbished.

Size 7, fully sizeable.

Charming vintage mount, used to hold a 1.25ct (6.80mm round) round diamond. Platinum with fishtail prongs. Single cut diamond accent on the shank, bead set in a marquise silhouette. size 6, fully sizeable.

Vintage Engraved Illusion Mounting
Classic engraved illusion mounting for a 6.5-6.7mm center stone. Platinum, size 6.25, sizeable. Has brand new illusion prongs, ready for your center stone! Prongs will be engraved when we set your stone. Very pretty setting!

Estate diamond milgrain Mounting
Very pretty estate mounting, currently being shown with a 7mm Asha OMC diamond simulant. Lovely details along the engraved, double milgrained shank, with approx 1.00ctw (approx G/H color) of melee diamonds channel set along the shank and pave set on the basket. Stamped 18k.

Size 7.50 and fully sizeable (sizing bar at the bottom). Will hold a stone that is between 7-7.50mm in diameter.

Simple and clean-lined solitaire setting with a yellow gold basket and platinum shank. Will fit a 6.6 - 7mm square/rectangular diamond (a radiant or asscher would be perfect!). A hefty, solid setting! Size 7, and fully sizeable.

Gorgeous, simple, classic antique mounting, perfect for a round stone that is anywhere from 8.60mm to 8.70mm. Charming heart motif along the basket, set low. Six flat ribbon prongs will add some nice visual size to the center stone! Excellent condition. Newly buffed and polished. Size 7, fully sizable.

Pretty elegant platinum and yellow gold mount, currently set with the equivalent of a 3ct fancy yellow princess cut diamond. The shank is platinum and the basket is in 18kt yellow gold. The shank has 2 tapered baguettes, approx G color, VS clarity - est to be .20-.25ctw.

Utterly charming antique mounting, likely from the Art Deco period. Beautiful filigree details along the basket and shank. Will fit a stone that 7mm. Size 6, fully sizeable. 14kt white gold.

antique dome mounting

Stunningly beautiful hand-crafted dome mounting from the Art Deco era, which used to hold a 10.45mm Old European cut diamond. The diamond has since been unmounted and the setting is now available! We could assist in re-building the bezel (at buyer's expense) and another option is to add prongs to the setting to hold a stone. There is a mix of old cut diamond melee all over the mounting with calibre cut sapphires along the shank. In very good condition overall. Platinum, size 4.5, and fully sizeable.

Approx .45ctw of mixed old cut diamonds. I/J color, SI1 clarity.

Antique Mounting with Sapphire Accents
EXQUISITE workmanship on this mounting, with pretty cuit-outs and graceful swirls along the basket and shank. French cut and shield shaped synthetic sapphires set along the shank, with milgraining along the edges. The sapphires are a rich, deep blue! Four very delicate split prongs. Newly buffed and polished. Stamped 18kt and 24107 inside the shank, will fit a stone that is approx 9mm.

Beautiful A. Jaffe halo mounting in white gold. Excellent condition and will be perfect for a stone that is between 6.75-7.00mm in diameter (round). 18kt white gold. Stamped. Size 6, sizeable down to a 5, sizeable up to 2 sizes. Euro shank.

Looks gorgeous on the finger! This setting currently retails for $3,195 brand new. GREAT value with this setting!

Very feminine vintage mounting with straight baguettes on either side of the shoulders. The triple claw prongs give an otherwise simple setting a floral, ornate feel.
